Conservation Product and Plant Sales

Each year the Cheshire County Conservation District sells conservation products and plants to raise funds that support our services and programming. Each spring we take orders for plants, trees, rain barrels, compost bins and buckets. Every fall we sell bulbs. We cannot order any extras, so please make sure to order everything that you want ahead of time.

To be notified of our next conservation product sale, please contact us and provide us with your name and mailing address. An order form will be mailed to you prior to the next product sale.

Tree & Plant Sale

Take a look at our most recent Tree & Plant Sale Catalog to get an idea of what types of trees and plants you might be interested in. Not all trees and plants will be available each spring; the Order Form you receive in the mail will be the most up-to-date version of what we have for sale.

Trees can provide the following conservation services:

  • Reforestation
  • Soil erosion control
  • Windbreaks
  • Screens
  • Wildlife habitat improvements

(It is unlawful for these trees, and other plants to be resold with the roots attached, in accordance with the Insect Pest and Plant Disease Act, P.A. 189 of 1931, as amended.)

Rain Barrels, Compost Bins and Buckets

We sell both outdoor compost bins as well as indoor kitchen compost collection buckets while supplies last. These conservation products can be ordered at the same time as our Tree and Plant Sale, and some extras are available year-round, while supplies last. To order any of these conservation products please contact us and let us know your interest.

Bulb Sale

Take a look at last year's catalog to get an idea of what types of bulbs you might be interested in. Not all bulbs will be available each fall; the order form you receive in the mail will be the most up-to-date version of what we have for sale.
